Background
Dr. Nana earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston (1991) and completed a general-surgery internship at Boston Medical Center before training in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Montreal, where he also completed fellowships in upper and lower limb reconstruction. He completed an additional fellowship in orthopaedic traumatology at Baylor College of Medicine. He has practiced with the JPS orthopaedic residency program since 1998 and is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. His practice focuses on limb lengthening, complex bone and soft-tissue injury, fracture non-union and mal-union, bone infection and hardware complications. He is a member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, AO North American and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
