Who runs Limb Lengthening Clinics?
Melih Koray— founder and editor. A designer and web-visibility specialist with more than 20 years in web, design and SEO (eight-plus years at McKinsey & Company as a Senior Graphic Specialist; today a Senior Designer and Web Optimization Specialist; trainer in web design and SEO since 2008). Who checks the medical content?
Op. Dr. Hüseyin Kavak— orthopaedic and traumatology surgeon (Istanbul), the site’s clinical reviewer. He has signed 35 dated reviews of clinical content (method pages, recovery and safety articles). He performs limb lengthening himself and is listed in this directory, so his conflict-of-interest statement is public and he never reviews a clinic listing, a tier, the Directory Score, a ranking or a cost page. Mücahit Enes Asan, PT— independent physiotherapist, contributes rehabilitation content as an author (he does not review other authors’ articles).
When was it founded, and where is it based?
The project started in April 2026 and is run as an independent, remote editorial operation — no office in any clinic, no clinic ownership, no medical-tourism agency behind it. The directory data was last re-verified on September 11, 2026; the re-verification cycle is quarterly and documented in the editorial policy.
What we are
An editorial directory of 192 independently-verified limb lengthening clinics worldwide. Every listing is researched against hospital records, regulatory filings, published outcomes and the surgeon's public credentials. No clinic pays to appear, and none can pay to move up.

Our four editorial principles
- No pay-for-placement. Ranking and featuring decisions are editorial. Clinics cannot buy position.
- Verification before listing. Every clinic must have a verified surgeon, a verifiable public presence, and a traceable regulatory track record.
- Verified before we publish. Every page naming treatments, outcomes or risks goes through a structured, multi-pass verification process — sources, risk disclosure, regulatory status — with human editorial sign-off. How we verify.
- Citations, always. Claims are sourced to peer-reviewed literature, regulatory bodies, or the clinic's own published data. Bare assertions don't ship.
How we make money
One way, and it is on a public page with the prices printed on it:
- Partner profiles. A clinic, or a surgeon personally, pays a flat annual fee to fill its own page properly: more photographs, a video, an interview, and articles published in its name. It buys presentation and nothing else. See the terms and the price.
We take no commission and no per-inquiry fee, and we never find out whether you booked. A directory paid by outcome has a reason to push you toward surgery and toward whichever clinic pays most; we removed that reason rather than manage it. We do not resell patient data and we run no affiliate links.
Ranking, our Directory Score, editorial tier, reviews, and any “recommended” verdict are not for sale at any price. Every outbound link on this site is nofollow, and partner-written articles are labelled sponsored.
