Background
Dr. Barcak earned his DO from the University of North Texas Health Science Center and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at John Peter Smith Health Network, followed by an orthopaedic trauma fellowship at the Campbell Clinic in Memphis. He is a fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopaedic trauma surgeon and assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery at JPS, where he directs the orthopaedic trauma rotation for resident education. His clinical interests include pelvic and acetabular fractures, minimally invasive fracture surgery, and treatment of nonunions, malunions and limb reconstruction.
