Background
Dr. Belthur earned his medical degree from Bangalore Medical College in India, completed residency training at Seth GS Medical College & KEM Hospital in Mumbai and the West Midlands Orthopaedic Training Programme in Birmingham, UK, and undertook three fellowships: pediatric orthopedics at Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, DE; pediatric orthopedics and limb reconstruction at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore; and pediatric orthopedics and scoliosis at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix, and treats limb lengthening and deformity, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, spine deformity, hip disorders and musculoskeletal infections. He belongs to the Ponseti International Association, AAOS, POSNA and the American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine.
