Background
Dr. Quinnan completed an orthopaedic trauma fellowship at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, University of Maryland, and a limb lengthening and deformity reconstruction fellowship at the Royal Brisbane Hospital in Australia. Before joining Paley Institute in 2020, he was Chief of Orthopedic Trauma Surgery at the University of Miami Health System and Jackson Memorial Hospital, Director of Orthopedic Surgery at Jackson South Medical Center, and Associate Professor and Fellowship Director of the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship. He treats fracture nonunion/malunion, limb lengthening, deformity and malalignment, bone loss, osteomyelitis and osseointegration for amputees, and invented the Balanced Cable Transport and BC-TATN bone-transport techniques.
