Dr. Ruggles earned his DO from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine (2003), completed a rotating internship at University Hospitals Richmond Medical Center (2004) and an orthopaedic surgery residency at Riverside County Regional Medical Center (2008), then a pediatric orthopaedic surgery fellowship at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (2009) and a limb lengthening and reconstruction fellowship at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore (2013) — the same International Center for Limb Lengthening where colleague Dr. Standard also trained and practiced. He is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is currently listed at Nemours Children's Hospital, Florida (Orlando), treating elbow, foot/ankle, hip and knee conditions, scoliosis and shoulder conditions.
