Background
Dr. Debiparshad earned his medical degree and a master's degree in orthopedic surgery from McGill University, then completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at McMaster University. He undertook a fellowship in complex limb lengthening and deformity reconstruction at the Paley Advanced Limb Lengthening Institute and additional surgical training at Harvard University in Boston. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, dual board-certified in the United States and Canada. He founded LimbplastX Institute in 2017 and states he was first exposed to limb-lengthening technique nearly 15 years earlier in Vancouver, Canada. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Medical Association.
