Background
Op. Dr. Mesut Karıksız graduated from Dicle University Faculty of Medicine (2007) and completed his orthopedics and traumatology specialization at Namık Kemal University (2016), where he also defended a PhD thesis on treatment of lower-extremity length discrepancies with intramedullary lengthening nails. He founded the Limb Lengthening Center in Küçükçekmece, Istanbul, and has performed over 1,000 deformity and lengthening surgeries across 14+ years. His 2019 publication in the Saudi Medical Journal on a novel Precice nail technique demonstrates active clinical research.
