Background
Daniel Kozyra graduated from the Military Medical Academy in Łódź and has practised medicine since 1986. He obtained his first specialisation in Orthopaedics and Traumatology in 1989 under Dr. Andrzej Giełżyński at the Central Teaching Hospital, Warsaw, and a second specialisation in Medical Rehabilitation in 1998 under Prof. Jerzy Kiwerski at the same institution. He ran a specialist orthopaedics/rehabilitation practice in Konstancin from 1992–2010 before founding Trigon Orthopedia in Warsaw in 2010. He is a member of the Polish Orthopaedic-Traumatological Society, the Polish Rehabilitation Society, and the Military Medical Chamber, and serves as Principal Investigator in a clinical trial on femoral lengthening using a Dynamic Intramedullary Nail.
