Why these numbers are trustworthy
Most “cost calculators” invent a number to capture your email. This one only reports prices real clinics have published, drawn straight from our directory of 192 verified clinics. The range is the genuine floor and ceiling of the matching clinics’ own figures; the typical value is their median. Clinics that only quote on request aren’t counted — we don’t guess on their behalf.
How a price got into the directory matters as much as the number, so every clinic record carries a source label: clinic-published(taken from the clinic’s own price page, with the page linked on the profile), patient-reported(a figure a patient posted publicly, which we treat as weaker), market benchmark (a country-and-method typical, used only when the clinic publishes a method but no price) and editorial estimate. The estimator uses the first three and skips clinics with no figure at all. When a clinic publishes an itemised list, the full table, with what it includes and excludes, is reproduced on that clinic’s profile.
Floor and ceiling are exactly that — the lowest published minimum and the highest published maximum among the matching clinics — and the median is the middle of each clinic’s own mid-point. A wide spread is a signal in itself: it usually means the filter mixes single-segment and bilateral packages, or hospital programmes with private specialists. Narrow the method or the country and the spread tightens.
