Muhammad Jalal Al-Sayyad is a Professor and Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon who established one of the Arab world's leading limb-lengthening centres in Jeddah. He is cited as one of the most prolific users of the Taylor Spatial Frame (TSF) worldwide and participated as the representative of the Lengthening Center at the University of Minnesota at the TSF's inaugural modern presentation in 2002. Al-Sayyad Center began intramedullary nail lengthening operations in June 2002 and adopted the PRECICE spinal-screw technique in 2008 — three years before its adoption in the United States. His research conducted at King Abdulaziz University Hospital has been published in peer-reviewed literature on motorised and magnet-driven intramedullary nails for limb length discrepancy.
